Can we ask a favour?
We’re trying to raise money for Driven Forward and we have a target of 1000 which will pay towards vital costs to run the Community Hub. It’s not always easy to ask for donations these days, so we’re using easy fundraising, a really clever website that turns your online purchases into free donations for us, at no extra cost to you.
It means you can help us reach our target really easily – simply shop with any of over 4,000 online retailers including Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, Booking.com, eBay, Boden, and M&S, and when you make a purchase, the retailer will send us a free donation. It’s as simple as that!
‘Support us’ we really do need your support. Thank you!
Food Donations
We are extremely low on ambient items for our larder side of the Community Fridge. Can you help us to restock ?
Why don’t you have a look through your cupboards and pantries for any food items that you don’t want or need or even like!
- Do you remember those 4 jars of sauces that you bought because they were on offer? but you didn’t like them? Why not donate them?
- Does your allotment have so much fruit and vegetables that you are struggling to give it away to ensure that it doesn’t go to waste.. If so pop it on to the Community Fridge
Are you going away, but there is still good fruit and veg etc your fridge in date and you don’t want to throw it away? then pop it down to the Community Fridge
We would love to help you prevent any of your food from going to waste, and in doing so we can pass it on to people that could definitely use it
Have a look at what we can or can’t accept and please think of us.
Don’t forget when the Community Fridge is closed , you can pop donations in to our Red BT Charity donation phone box on the corner of Clarence Crescent
